You have the right to request deletion of any personal data I hold about you — including data connected through Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) or any other service you've used to interact with me. This page explains how to do it.
01What Data Can Be Deleted
Upon your request, I will delete personal information I hold about you, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and company details.
- Any messages, inquiries, or project briefs you've sent me.
- Data retrieved from Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) if you authorized access — including profile information, page data, or posted content stored on my systems.
- Access tokens and authentication credentials linked to your Meta accounts.
- Analytics data that can identify you personally.
Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g., tax records, signed contracts) or to resolve disputes. Those exceptions are listed in the Privacy Policy.
02How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to mb@mbaakliny.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name.
- The email address associated with your data.
- If applicable, your Meta / Facebook / Instagram username or user ID.
- A brief description of the data you want deleted (or simply write "all data").
To protect your privacy, I may need to verify your identity before processing the request — this prevents someone else from deleting your data without your permission.
03Processing Time
I will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. If the request is more complex, I may take up to an additional 30 days and will notify you in writing with the reason for the delay.
04Revoking Meta Platform Access
If you previously authorized a Meta app connected to my services, you can also revoke that access directly from your Meta account:
- Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites and remove the app.
- Instagram: Go to Settings → Security → Apps and Websites and remove the app.
Revoking access stops future data sharing but does not automatically delete data already collected — for that, you'll still need to send a deletion request using the instructions above.
05Confirmation
Once your data has been deleted, you will receive a confirmation email. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may escalate by replying to the confirmation email or contacting the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
